Prestigious Bank Awards of o-operative Banks; Bharat Bank Crownded with First Place for Best Service

Mumbai, Feb.04: The Co-operative Banks Association declared that the prestigious Tulu Kannadiga finance institution, The Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited has received annual ‘best bank award’ given by The Brihanmumbai Nagari Co-operative Banks Association Limited Mumbai.

The association has organized its 20th annual award ceremony. The banks with more than Rs.14500 crore deposits for the year 2014-2015 were in the race of prestigious and quality co-operative bank competition and Bharat Bank emerged as the winner. Swati Pandey, the chief executive officer of the co-operative bank’s association said that Bharat Bank has been given this honor for its best customer service, overall business and customer-friendly annual report.

Jaya C Suvarna, the executive president of the bank expressed his joy for the proficiency of the bank in all areas. Advocate Rohini J Salian, the vice president and C R Mulky the managing director and chief executive officer said that it is indeed a moment to feel proud and an honor to all the customers and the staff for their services.

“The award ceremony will be held on Feb 18th at Veer Savarkar National Memorial Auditorium, Shivaji Park, Dadar (W) and the board members of the bank will receive the award”-said Mohandas Hejmady, chief asst manager and chief development officer of the bank
