Mumbai, Nov.16: Ranjani Sudhakar Hegde received the authority as the president of women’s wing of prestigious Bunts Association, Mumbai for the term 2017-2020. Ranjani took charge of her new responsibility from the retiring president Latha Jayarama Shetty.
The program held in the presidency of Latha J. Shetty at Shri Pramoda Shetty Auditorium, Kurla(E). In the assembly organized by women’s wing, Latha J. Shetty perfomed Pooja to Godess Durga and later offered bouquet and handed over the authority to Ranjani S. Hegde and congratulated her.
Latha J. Shetty expressed her views and thanked everyone for their support and co-operation during her term. Also, she hoped and wished, even the future office bearers would lead the women’s wing into the success path. Ranjani S. Hegde expressed her views and sought the co-operation of all the members of the association.
In the program Asha Sudheer Shetty- joint secretary, Prasanthi D. Shetty- joint treasurer were present on the dais. Meenakshi Rajashekar Shetty invocated God’s blessing. Asha Santosh Shetty- treasurer rendered information about the financial details. Ranjani S. Hegde briefed the social service report. Mamatha M. Shetty- vice-president welcomed the gathering. Kavitha I. R. Shetty- secretary rendered the past years report and proposed the vote of thanks.
The newly elected members of the women wing, Uma Krishna Shetty- vice-president, Chitra R. Shetty- Hon Secretary, Asha Rai- Hon treasurer, Manorama N. Shetty- joint secretary, Ratna P. Shetty- joint treasurer also received authorities by respective outgoing office bearers.
Latha P. Bandari- former president, Asha M. Hegde, Latha Prabhakar Shetty, Dr. Savitha M. Shetty and many women members of the association were present at the assembly. Initially bhajan was performed. At the end cultural program- Mata Ki Chawki was organized.
