Rev. Fr. Joe (Joseph) Castelino.Died on :21st November at Varanasi. Son of Late Mr. John Abraham Castelino (Teacher)& Late Mrs. Magdaline Castelino. Born on 12th August 1937 at Sooda - Koraje. Belongs to "Our Lady Of Fathima Church - Pernal"

 

Joined Minor Seminery at Lucknow for The Diocese of Varanasi in 1956.
Ordained on 21st December 1965. Joined as Diocesan Priest on April 1966.
Secretary to Most Rev. Jerome Melefant from 1966 to 1971.

Worked as a Parish Priest at Beera Bunty Mission Station from 1971 to 1977.
Higher Studies at Manilla at 1977.

Founder Director of "Nav-Sadhna" at Varanasi from (1980) 1982 to 1986.
"Rector" at Allahabad Major Seminery from 1986 to 1991.

"Administrator" and "Associate Director" at St. John's Medical College and Hospital - Bangalore from 1993 to 2002.

Director St. Mary's Hospital at Korotha Varanasi from 2002 to 2004.

Spiritual Director at "Massi Gurukul" at Varanasi from 2005 to 2011.

Celebrated ‘HIS FIFTY YEARS PRIESTHOOD’ on 21st October,2015. He was residing at “Vianny Nivas” at Bhojubir – Varanasi as a Retired Priest’

Funeral will be on Tomorrow 10.30 A.M. St. Mary's Cathedral, Varanasi
