LET SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS BE NOT COMPETITIVE: UPENDRA PRABHU

Mumbai, december 08: The 9th Annual General Meeting of Vignahartha Shri Mahaganapathi Seva Mandali of Rajapura Saraswat Brahmana Samaj was held under the presidentship of Vasanth R Nayak, Nakre-at Vidya Bhavan of Vidyaprasaraka Mandala, Dahisar (E).

Later, Saraswat utsav and stage functions were held. The General Manager of Karnataka Bank Upendra Nayak was present as chief guest. The supervisory Engineer of SIDCO- Rajaram S Nayak- was present as honorary guest and honored the senior leader of the community-Sharada Bhorker, distributed the scholarship and talent awards to students.

Upendra Prabhu said “The goodness of society will increase, with the increase of institutions. The services of the institutions are complimentary to concerned community. But service institutions should not be competitive, because of that everything will start declining”.

“We all should utilise 2% of our income for social service. If we respond by offering our profit for those who are in need, we will receive blessings in return. If everyone is united with one mind and open mind, our society will achieve progress. With all your unity, let your own auditorium be constructed soon”- Rajaram Nayak expressed his views.

In his presidential speech Vasanth Nayak said “Ours is a small community, through unity we can achieve everything. As said by the guests, let us strive for the welfare of the society and construct our own auditorium for our coming generation”

Honorary president Gopala R Navalkar, Vice-president Ramesh S Nayak, joint secretaries-Gopal a Nayak, Shashikanth D Nayak, joint treasurer Anand K Prabhu, members Narayana A Nayak, Siddhi R Prabhu, the executive president of women’s wing Smitha Patkar, Co-ordinator of marrriage bereau vidwan Ramesh Bhat were present at the dais.

The members of Vighnahartha Bhajana Mandali performed the bhajan programme and prayers. Secretary N Srinivasa Nayak welcomed all. Narayan Nayak introduced the guests and conducted the programme. The treasurer Bharath V Kamath proposed the vote of thanks.
