South Indian films are getting place in the international market: Naravi Raghavendra Hegde.

Mumbai, July 04: “Because of self-production of films by the producers, the new commer is not getting the chance to produce a film. The south Indian films are getting place in the International market, now I have been concentrating on budget films. Today, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films are becoming more popular and successful than Hindi films. Here we can succeed by producing low budget films also. At this time Kannada film industry is in a good position”-said producer-director Raghavendra Hegde (Raghu Naravi) in a press meeting held at Laxmi Industrial Estate, Andheri (E).

Mr Raghu Naravi said he was trained by Vipul Shah, Dada Konke, and Jabbar Patel of Bollywood as assistant and later on he produced 500 TV serials. His serials still remain in the memory of viewers. At this time, “Ashoka”, “Udaan”, “Iska rang safed” “Diya aur Bathi”, “Ek Ladki Suhani”, “Ishque Baaz”, “Jaana naa dilse door…” and “Crime Petrol” serials are being telecasted in colors TV, star TV and Sony TV respectively. During the occasion, the famous hair stylist and the managing director of “Shiva’s Hair Designers Pvt. Ltd., Dr Shivarama K Bhandary was present.

Mr. Raghu Naravi belongs to Belthangady Taluk of South Canara district. Padmayya Hegde and Muthu Hegde of Aras Katte are his parents. He received his primary education from Primary School of Naravi and high school education at Ashrama School of Mudabidire. Later he came to Mumbai and failed to have higher education because of the problem of migration certificate. Great achiever Raghu Naravi, leading a happy life with his wife Revathi Hegde, son Rohan Hegde and daughter Riwa Hegde.
