Srinivas Jokatte's book wins Karnataka Sahitya Academy award

Mumbai, Sep 30: Karnataka Sahitya Academy Bengaluru has selected seventeen best works of the 2012 series for awards. Out of them, Mumbai's author and journalist Srinivas Jokatte's work 'Mavovadigala Hindu Rastra Nepala' (Nepal – a hindu nation of Mavoists) has been selected for award under tour literature division.

The award consists of Rs 5,000 cash, a certificate and a memento. Jokatte, editor of Karnataka Sangha Mumbai organ, 'Sneha Sambandha', has published 22 works and offered his own contribution to the
literary world.

His works have won him several awards. Registrar S H Bhagya was present at the news conference.
