St. Paul's Catholic Association Celebrates 74th Anniversary

Mumbai: St Paul’s Catholic Association celebrated its 74rd Annual day and Founders’ day on Sunday at the auditorium at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Road, Fort(V.T).

Holy Eucharistic celebration was at the Wood house Holy name cathedral Church, Colaba and Rev Fr Jochim Dsouza offered the holy mass.

Simple celebration was held at the Association auditorium of St Paul. Laveena, Rajani and Violet lighted the lamp and inaugurated the stage programme. Former president Stany Fernandes released the souvenir. President Antony Dsouza, Senior residing member Thomas Noronha were present.

Stany Fernandes said, “Christian serve the society since their birth. Our ancestors also served the society. We too should come out of selfish things and help building a secure society for our future generation.

Honorary secretary Richard Dsouza welcomed all and explained the importance of association and how the association helped the members for last 74 years.

Christmas celebration was also celebrated. Ivan Fernandes dressed as a Santaclause and entertained the gathering. Antony DSouza - president of the association, Prasad Nazaret-vice president, Michael Lobo-Honarary Treasurer, Joint Secretary-Antony Nazareth, Joint Treasurer Sunil Tauro were present at the dais.

Rayan Castelino compered the programme.
