Mumbai, July 03: St. Peter's Association (Barkur) Mumbai celebrated their patron Saint St. Peter's Feast 33 Annual Day Celebration at St. Vincent De Palloti Church Marol on 2 July 23. Thanks giving mass to St Peter by Goa Agaciam Shubham Jinn Meditation Ashram Superior Rev.Fr.Dr.Ivon DAlmeida.

Before the celebration there was 33rd AGM presided by President Bonifas Sequeira, Secretary Arthur Mendonca read the last year report, Treasurer Vincent Furtado presented Annual accounts.

Annual Day Celebration at St. Vincent De Palloti Church hall inaugurated with Lighting the lamp by Fr. lvon Almeida, Bonifas Sequeira, Eric Carvalho, Ivon Rebello, Richard Carvalho, Felix Barnes, Ida Roche, Vincent Furtado and Arthur Mendonca.

Honouring 7 students with Educational Prizes securing highest marks in SSC,HSC, Graduation and Post Graduation. On his 25 years of priesthood Jubliee Fr. Dr, Ivon DAlmeida originally from Barkur felicitated with Shawl, Garland, Fruit Bucket by President Bonifas Sequeira and Vice president Wilfred Sequeira Barnes and Vincent Furtado.

Felicitations to Michael Sequeira Committee Members Sports person and Marathon Runner achieving many medals in various events conducted by Indian Navy, Maharashtra State govt, Thane etc. Senior Citizen felicitated by Johnson Martis and Ivan Suares. Honouring Senior most SPA member Ex President Felix Barnes by Thimothy D Souza and Michael Almeida, Richard Carvalho Ex President by Ex president Ivan Rebello and John Gonsalves, Anthony Gonsalves by Arthur Mendonca and Anthony Dias.

Bonifas Sequeira welcome the gathering. Arthur Mendonca present Annual Report. Eric Carvalho, Vice President Kiran Carvalho and Mrs Lizzie Fernandes narrated briefly about felicitator. Fr Ivon Almeida speaks about Association activities and praised the good work carried both in Barkur and Mumbai.

Ivon Rebello explain Association future plan Seeking help for future projects of uniform and books and one teacher salary for Maryknoll school at Barkur, help for poor students, educational awards to children, help for various church projects etc.
