The Annual Car-Festival and Okuli Celebration at Shri Vittala Rukhumai Temple, Dhaisar (East)

Mumbai, December 19: Five days Car-festival and Okuli celebration of Shri Vittala Rukhumai temple of Dahisar, was celebrated with the blessings of Shrimud Sudheendratheertha Swamiji-pontiff of Shri Samsthana Kashi Mutt and younger pontiff Shrimud Samyameendratheertha Swamiji- at Kashimutt near N L Complex, Dahisar (E) on Friday noon.

With the guidance of Vedamurthy Lakshminarayana Bhat, the group of priests performed various religious rituals, adored Lord Vittala Rukkumai and conducted third years’ car- festival on Thursday evening.

Five days annual celebration was concluded with pallaki fair and Okuli celebration (Avabhritha) at Saraswath cultural and recreation centre ground.

The President of the Managing committee-Mohandas Mallya, secretary-Madhusudhana Pai, the office-bearers of Saraswatha cultural and Recreation Centre of GSB Sabha Dahisar-Borivili, members and hundreds of devotees were present during the occasion.
