OUTSIDE TULUVAS ARE UNIQUE ORGANIZERS: SARVOTTAM SHETTY ABUDHABI

Mumbai, Aug 18: Tulu Kuta Pune(R) celebrated 19th annual day on Monday at Mahalaxmi Lawns, Karvenagar, Pune. The main co-ordinator of UAE Tuluver Sarvottam Shetty Abudhabi was the chief guest. Sadananda K Shetty and other dignitaries were present and inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.

Sarvottama Shetty said, “ Tulu Kuta Pune has organized the programme in a good and disciplined manner. Tuluvas respect the parents. They are great devotees. They love their culture and land. We should feel proud about our mother tongue. We should teach it to our children. We should unite together to give a prominent place to our language. All should participate in the Tulu Fair which will be held in December in Badiyadka. “

Taranatha K Rai Meginaguttu was the president of the programme. Shimanturu Chandrahasa Suvarna and Jaya Shetty Miyyar were present. They felicitated Sadananda K Shetty the hotel industrialist and the students.

Chandrahasa Suvarna, Jaya Shetty, Sadananda Shetty, Taranatha Rai spoke and said that all should make selfless efforts to protect Tulu culture.

Vice president Mohan Shetty Ennehole, Nayana C Shetty the president of the women wing, Mahesh Hegde Kattingeri the executive president of the regional committee were present at the dais. The members of Tulu Kuta exhibited various dance programmes under the direction of Shobha T Shetty and Sarita P Shetty. A small play ‘Daiva Sanidhya’ was presented. One more devotional play ‘Katildalle Ullaldi’ was also exhibited.
