SEVEN BOOKS WERE RELEASED IN MEMORY OF COMPLETION OF FIFTEENTH YEAR OF POOJAPUBLICATION
TULU IS A BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE: DR. VYASARAYA NINJOOR

Mumbai, Dec. 26: “Tulu is a beautiful language. Tulu language has a nature of antiquity and originality in its wordings. But there is a lack of wordsto use in writing, I have a little concern about this. Let tulu language be used in daily life. Tulu is a clear language, but does not have the script, so this language has become hard to read”-said Dr Vyasaraya Ninjoor, a senior journalist, scientist and editor of “Gokula”- a monthly magazine.

In memory of “Shashtipoorthi” of famous poet Shimanthoor Chandrahasa Suvarna and on the occasion of celebration of its fifteenth year Pooja Punblication Mumbai, released 7 books, namely “Suvarnachandra”-the shashtipoorthi memorial literatureof Shimanthoor Chandrahasa Suvarna and “Gaala”,”Chakra”,”Agnisakshi”,”sayyaraandala Budle”- compilation of three tulu dramas, “Rakthave jeevanadhi”- compiled medical articles of Sharada A Anchan-an award winningpoet andcollection of kannada stories-“Pushpaguccha”. Dr Ninjoor released the 7 books and wished for the success of tulu language and noted the service of many achievers in the field of tulu.

The programme was held on Saturday evening at Samarasa Bhavan of Karnataka Sangha Mumbai, with the joint association of Abhinaya Samrajya Mumbai and Karnataka Sangha Mumbai. Dr. G D Joshi-the former president of Kannada Sahithya Parishath of Maharashtra unit, presided over the programme by lighting the lamp. The renowned poet and writer N P Shetty was present as chief guest, awarded theatre artist-Saa.Daya (Dayananda Salyan) and Harish K Hejmady-sub-editor of monthly magazine,”Akshaya”- introduced the writings to the audience.

Dr Joshi said-“So many books releasing in the memory of fifteenth year celebration of Pooja Publication is a matter worthy of praise. Recognized as a poet and writer in the field of literature, Shimanthoor has created his own status. Sharada Anchan also has her own style- in writing – releasing their books today is a matter of pride”.

“Chandrahasa Suvarna and Sharada Anchan were already recognized by their writings. Let them provide more literatures and more books be released by Pooja Publication”-N P Shetty expressed his view.

Chandrahasa Suvarna and Sharada Anchan rememberd the persons who extended co-operation in publishing their books. .

Saraswathi Chandrahasa Suvarna-publisher of Pooja Publication, Poojashri Chandrahasa Suvarna, Lalitha Kotian, Hema Haridas and Anjali Kotian- offered the bouquets to the guests. Navin Kumar J. Karkera welcomed all, introduced the guests and proposed the vote of thanks. As part of the “Shashtipurthi” function, classical music and devotional songs were presented by-Guru Padmaja Joshi and Sharada Anchan and group.
