Women’s Wing of Bhandary Seva Samiti Conducted Haldi-Kumkum Programme

LET THE HARD WORK OF WOMEN EMPOWER THE RELIGION: SHOBHA SURESH BHANDARY

Mumbai, Jan. 25: Women’s Wing of Bhandary Seva Samiti organized its annual Haldi-Kumkum programme 2016 here on Sunday afternoon at Samarasa Bhavan, Karnataka Sangha, Matunga (W) Mumbai.

The programme was presided over by Advocate Shekar S. Bhandary. Lalitha Viswanatha Bhandary –the President of Women’s Wing led the leadership of women oriented religious programme. Kadandale Shobha Suresh Bhandary –the Social Worker and the Director of Moneyfold Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd was present as the chief guest in the religious programme and she inaugurated the programme along with the office bearers of the women’s wing by lighting the lamp.

Shalini Ramesh Bhandary, Shanti Shekar Bhandary, Sumathi Sadashiva Bhandary, Vanitha S. Bhandary –the Vice Executive President of women’s wing, Rekha S. Bhandary were present on the dais and inaugurated the programme by reciting the prayer in worship Kacchur Sri Nageshwara.

Shobha Suresh Bhandary said that this programme is an inspiration to lead the life taking happiness and sadness in the right spirit. Indian religions show the richness of India.

Lalitha Bhandary explained the importance of the programme and said “Sankranti festival is a time of good fortune to women and a fruitful period to the whole world. Effort is necessary to become rich. However, the role of women behind this celebration is remarkable.”

Sumathi Bhandary Andheri, Shalini Bhandary, Shanthi Bhandary, Sumathi Bhandary expressed their views and wished that these kinds of religious programmes empower women and let more and more women come together to celebrate this festival in future.

Advocate R. M. Bhandary –the Vice President of the association, Vijay R. Bhandary – the Honorary Chief Secretary, Ramesh V. Bhandary– the Honorary Treasurer, Narayana R. Bhandary and Purushothama G. Bhandary –the Joint Secretaries, Shashidhar D. Bhandary – the Joint Treasurer, heads of the Sub-Committees, members and Gulabi Krishna Bhandary, Anushree Shivarama Bhandary, Master Saurabh Suresh Bhandary –the dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Saritha K. Bangera welcomed all, introduced the dignitaries, and compered the programme. Roopa Bhandary recited the prayer; Lalitha Bhandary conducted the religious event. Rekha Bhandary rendered the vote of thanks.
