A Successful Street Play organized by the Students of Saraf College

Mumbai.As it is always said that a good cause does not need a proper occassion. Students of Durgadevi Saraf College & Ghanshyamdas Saraf College performed a Street Play Team and named it ‘WE YOUTH’ and it was based on Youth Empowernment.

 

The Street Play Team included all the departments of the College i.e. Cultural Committee, The Mauj Committee, NSS Unit, WDC, DLLE, Sports Committee and last but not the least Junior College. Street Play was enacted on Malad(West) Station, Mumbai. As Swami Vivekanand has rightly said “Give me 100 youth so that I could make a strong India”. And today more than 150 youth gathered for creating awareness for the society. The Street Play was written, acted and directed by Meenaz Shaikh. Madhura Pawar, Vishakha Pandey, Akshay Trivedi, Aashish Shivhare, Bhavesh Sharma, Pratik Sinde, Omkar Degdare, Sumer Pandit, Ali Farooqui and Abhishek Yadav were the actors of the play.They are grateful to the Malad Police Station for their support.

The Street Play ended successfully and all gathered back to Saraf College with the name of ‘Mauj-2015’. “Mauj- Tryst with Destiny” is their College Festival coming on 15th, 16th and 17th December, 2015.
