BJP Vice President Bandra Assembly Smt Hetal Vimal Gala organised a Cricket Tournament for Ward 92 at Sambhaji Grounds Khotwadi.

16 Teams from the Ward participated in the Mega Tournament which started at 9.15 am. Deputy Mayor Smt Alka Kerkar inaugurated the Tournament with Smt Hetal Gala.The National Anthem was played and Piegons were flown.

Mumbai Bjp President MLA Advocate Ashish Shelar also attended the tournament and encouraged the Cricketors. He asked all present to bat for Sab Ka Vikas and against Corruption.

Social Worker Sanjay Doshi was also present.He asked Smt Hetal Gala the reason for organising the Tournament. She was very clear that sports represented Sportsman Spirit and this Spirit of the youth was required in todays times to create positive atmosphere and Development. Youth is the pillar which will bear the load of the future and needed an opportunity for creativity.Smt Gala also informed that this was one of the many programs she has thought about for Ward 92.Distribution of Umbrellas for All those who need and compass Box for students of of Ward 92 were among the few upcoming ones.

The tournament was very professionaly organised. T Shirts were given to all players, Mineral water with Glucon C packets to beat the heat,Professional Commentators,MCA accredited Umpires, LED lighting etc were appropriately done.

Winners got a Big Trophy and Rs 41000

Runners Up Trophy and Rs 21000. Umpires and Commentators were also felicitated.

The Tournament ended around 9.30 pm With Siddheshwar Team from Besant Street being the winners.

The BJP Office Bearers , workers from Ward 92 and friends and well wishers of Smt Hetal Gala were present in large numbers. The tournament generated huge response from the people of Ward 92 and drew a huge crowd of approx 700 people.

Smt Hetal Gala also announced that next year this Tournament will be held over a period of two Days and more Cricket Teams will be accommodated.

She thanked one and all for being part of the successful Tournaments and seeked the Blessings and continuous support of Mumbai Bjp President MLA Adv Ashish Shelar and the people of the Ward.
