Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday released the Book 'In the Service of the People'

Mumbai Jan. 31: Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday released the Book 'In the Service of the People' based on Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao’s two years' term in Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Chief Minister presented the first copy of the book to former President of India Smt Pratibha Patil in presence of the Governor and other dignitaries.

Chairman of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar, Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Haribhau Bagade, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Ministers Sudhir Mungantiwar, Vinod Tawde, Vishnu Savra, Diwakar Raote and Dr Deepak Sawant, film star Juhi Chawla, Pheroza Godrej, S Ramadorai, Grace Pinto, Dr B K Goyal, Commissioner of Police Datta Padsalgikar and others were present.

The book compiled by the Governor’s Secretariat highlights the important work done by Governor Vidyasagar Rao since taking charge as Governor in August 2014. It also chronicles through photographs the important functions attended by him and visits undertaken to different parts of the State.
