Mumbai: Metallic Ganapati at Prasanna Hardikar’s residence. He felt modern idol made by plaster of paris (POP) and chemical colours are polluting environment.

So since 1995, Hardikar family at Mumbai started worshiping Ganapati idol made by metal which will not be immersed.

After Ganesh Chaturthi, the idol will be placed at Devghar where puja is recited everyday.
