Mumbai: Ln Mala Shetty of Lions club of Sunshine Platinum & Lioness club of Vasant Vihar, Celebrated a Day out with Special children of Sulabha Special School at world’s one of Biggest Outlet - McDonalds Chembur (W) on 23rd December 2015. Mala has been celebrating Xmas with these special children since 2006.

Special children from Sulabha Special School, Chembur had a gala of a time at McDonalds with members also McDonalds Staff who wait for this occasion as McDonalds too gives them gifts with food they serve as a part of Christmas day celebrations. The Manager of the McDonalds outlet personally came and played music with staff also danced with the children. He said he would like to have feedback as it is HAPPY OCCASION for this rare event with Special Children.

District Governor , Ln Nitin Shetty states that Lion Mala Shetty who celebrates the day with special children for many years feels that the children look out for such party and get to go out and enjoy. McDonald’s, as part of Christmas celebrations also gives them a small toy each along with delicacies served. He has been attending this event since 3 years said Presidents Ls Pramila Bharani and Ln Kavvita Shharma and we members too look forward for this special event too.

TV & Film producer and director Swapna Waghmare Joshi, who also directed Himesh Reshamiyya’s film ’Damaadum’ TV serial Rang Badalti Odhani on Star One, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki on Colors channel etc. also has done some Marathi serials on Star Pravah etc.graced the event with her daughter Ms Sanhita Joshi, also she gives/sponsors gifts for these children every year, as she waits every year to meet them and dance with them. She also buys the products made by these special children, as she feels it can be used as well as given as gifts to friends as people should know that these children have their own talent and quality to make such products.

Ms Swapna Joshi's recently released Marathi Film Mitwaa – starring Actors Swapnil Joshi , Sonalee Kulkarni & Prarthana Behere was a hit movie in all over Maharashtra. Now She will Direct , Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Untitled Marathi Movie. And Swapnil Joshi will work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Marathi film.

On 23rd One more person joined this special event was writer Ms Harsha Jagdish writer of Sanskar Dharohar Apno Ki and
Screenplay writer of Kahani ghar ghar ki fame and many more shows like
Screenplay and dialogues of serial ‘Kumkum’ for Star Plus etc.

She too was excited with the event, and told was happy to interact with special children and members of clubs says Ln Atreyee Mandal and others. Harsha will come next year too for such an event.
