Maharashtra Governor flags off 14th Mumbai Marathon

Mumbai Jan. 15 :- The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao flagged off the 14th Mumbai Marathon (Full Marathon) amid great enthusiasm opposite the Victoria Terminus station in Mumbai.


Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports (Ind. Charge) Vijay Goel, Maharashtra’s Minister for Animal Husbandry, Diary Development and Fisheries Mahadev Jankar, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Commissioner of Mumbai Police Datta Padsalgikar, Shaina NC, Rahul Bose and others were present.

According to the information provided by the Organizers, 42,000 people have registered to run the 14th Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and more than 3 lakh people are expected to cheer the marathoners on the route of the Marathon.In pic SCMM 2017 Overall Elite Winner Tanzania's Alphonce Simbu ( Ran - First ), Joshua Kipkorir, Keniya - ( Rank - Second ) & Eliub Barngetuny, Keniya ( Rank Third)
