Mumbai: Sharad Pawar meets Governor. President of the Nationalist Congress Party Sharad Pawar had a meeting with the Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tuesday (12 Jan). This was a courtesy call.

Smt Pratibha Pawar and Smt Ch Vinodha were also present. The Pawars met the Governor on the invitation of the Governor.

Mumbai Jan.12- Malvani Police Station arrested four persons in extortion in Malad Malvani area in Mumbai. This racket is involved in extortion of money from no.of rationing shops in Malwani, Malad area. Modus operandi: to threaten shopkeepers of lodging complaints of selling kerosene / other rationing items in black market.
