RPF staff of Dombivili: On 26.06.2017, one lady passenger named Priya Aniket Tandel R/o 205, Aai Renuka Appartment, Above Vikas Mhatre Office, Raju Nagar, Kumbharkhan Pada, Dombivli West while boarding up CST local train at 08.43 from Dombivli Railway Station PF No 05, the handle of her shoulder bag got detached and the mobile phone kept inside fell down on to the platform. The said Mobile was collected by On duty RPF HC R. A. Singh of RPF Thana Dombivli who was deployed on platform bandobast duty. The lady later called on the mobile and was informed that her mobile has been retrieved by RPG staff and she was asked to collect it from RPF Thana Dombivli. On this, the lady came to RPF Thana Dombivli and after completing due formalities the mobile was handed over to the lady.
Mumbai June 29 :- RPF Dadar in apprehending and handing over of a suspect named Ravindra Pradeep Pawar, aged 30 yrs, R/o New Model Town, Kurla who was found through Baggage scanner at Dadar PF 7/8 to be in illegal possession of 02 handmade Pistols, 02 magazines and 22 numbers of live 7.65 mm rounds concealed in Gunny bag containing wheat at the time of 12138 UP Punjab Mail on 28.06.17. On 28.06.17, RPF CT V.S.Varge was deputed on the x-ray baggage scanning machine at dadar PF no. 7/8. Around 08:00 hrs, at the time of arrival of Punjab mail, he noticed an outsider carrying a yellow/blue gunny bag and moving suspiciously towards the exit gate. At this he alerted RPF CT Nitin Mistry and CT Vijay Bhosale who were on platform/PLT duty and rounded him up. On scanning the gunny bag it was noted that the 50 kgs gunny bag which contained wheat had 02 handmade pistols , 02 magazines and 22 numbers of live 7.65 mm rounds hidden in it.
