National Science day

Mumbai: As a tribute to Prof. C. V. Raman the great Indian Physicist who discovered the Raman effect St. Xavier’s High School, Borivli (E) celebrated the National Science day on 28th Feb’15 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The school organized a Science Exhibition in the school premises. The students displayed various projects on various scientific issues like Environment, human body, solar system, problem of pollution, energy conservation, diet etc.

 

The students of std I to Std IX presented their exhibits excellently providing valuable information and awareness on every issue. The colourful exhibits included projects that were still and working models. Parents who visited the exhibition highly appreciated the efforts of our Chairman Sir Dr. A. F. Pinto, Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto, Management, Headmistress, Supervisors, teachers and students to organize and aware the masses on various important scientific issues and congratulated the team for their efforts towards the field of Science and Technology.

Arranging this kind of exhibition encourages children to go beyond the books and pour out their imagination power says Judge Inspector Jaywant Dukhande.
