Naval Children School is first to get NWWA Quiz Competition

Mumbai: The Naval Children School is the first to get newly instituted NWWA (Navy Wives Welfare Association) Quiz Competition Rolling Trophy. NWWA and Bombay Quiz Club held NWWA Quiz 2015 at Mulla Auditorium, Colaba Military Station, Mumbai today. About 22 leading schools from the city participated in the event. Quiz Master Vikram Joshi hosted the Quiz. The runner-up in the competition was Campion School.

Vice Admiral SPS Cheema, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command was the Chief Guest and gave away the Rolling Trophy to the winners and prizes to the other five finalists. Many Naval officers were present on the occasion. Mrs Gagandeep Cheema, President, Naval Wives Welfare Association was also present.

The Navy Wives Welfare Association is an association of wives of Indian Navy personnel which supplements the efforts of the Navy in areas of community welfare and development. NWWA conducts many outreach programs. The Bombay Quiz Club was founded in 2006 to promote quizzing in Mumbai, the Bombay Quiz Club is the only officially registered organisation that promotes quizzing as a sport for intellectual enrichment in the city.
