The Governor of Maharashtra Ch. Vidyasagar Rao today flagged off ‘Run for Unity’ a 2

Mumbai Oct. 31: The Governor of Maharashtra Ch. Vidyasagar Rao today flagged off ‘Run for Unity’ a 2– km long run in Mumbai on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel celebrated as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.' Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister designate led the run for unity from the front. Union Ministers Prakash Jawdekar, Piyush Goyal and Raosaheb Danve also took part in the race.

Prior to the start of the race, the Governor gave a ‘Rashtriya Ekatmata Pledge’ to the participants of the run. The run started from Air Inida building and culminated near the Parsi Gymkhana on the Marine Drive in Mumbai. In pic Union Minister Prakash Javadekar & Devendra Fadnavis.
