VP, CM, Ministers greet Governor on birthday

Mumbai: Vice President of India Mohd Hamid Ansari and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar called up Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao today and greeted him on his 74th birthday (12 Feb).



Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called on the Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan and greeted him.

Minister for Higher and Technical Education Vinod Tawde, Minister for Rural Development Pankaja Munde, Minister of Transport Diwakar Raote and Minister of State for Home Ranjit Patil also met the Governor and greeted him.

Senior Ministers Eknath Khadse and Sudhir Mungantiwar, former Union Minister Praful Patel and Leader of the Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil also conveyed their greetings to the Governor.

Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai Dr Sanjay Deshmukh and other eminent persons also wished the Governor on his birthday.
