All medical, dental seats taken in CET first round allotment

Bengaluru, DHNS: At the end of the first round of the CET seat allotments, all 2,491 medical seats and 602 dental seats that were in the matrix were allotted on Friday.

As far as engineering seats are concerned, of the 55,238 government seats and 7,235 management surrendered seats, only 732 seats were left unfilled.

Of the 962 government architecture seats and three management surrendered seats, only nine were left.

In Farm Science and BVSc, two of the 2,636 government seats were left. In BPharm and Pharm D, all the 1,335 seats were taken. Similarly, all 146 Lateral BPharm seats were taken.

Confirmation of choices, payment of fees and downloading of forms need to be done between July 2 and July 5 before 5 pm.

The last date for reporting to colleges is July 7 before 5 pm.

Yet to be finalised

An official from the KEA said the medical and dental seats from minority and deemed institutions are yet to come as the matter of fees and matrix between them and the government is yet to be finalised.

“Officials from the medical education department have said that they will sort out the matter by the second round of seat allotment,” said the official MBA/MCA PGCET 2016 exam will be held on Friday in which 6,137 candidates will appear for MCA and 21,900 for MBA.
