New Delhi (DHNS): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the results for Class XII after uncertainty prevailed for over a week leaving students anxious.

With 99.6% of marks Noida's Amity International School student, Raksha Gopal became topper. The All-India pass percentage is 82 percent as compared to 83 last year.

The students can check the results on the board's website and the CBSE has advised them not to visit its office.

Anxiety and panic gripped students after the Delhi High Court had earlier this week ordered the board to continue with its moderation policy which was scrapped last month.

After contemplating moving the Supreme Court, the board decided against it as the process would have delayed the results further. Over 10 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 examination this year.
