Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's elder sister passes away

Mysuru, (DHNS): Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s elder sister Chikkamma (76) passed away on Friday due to age-related ailments.

The chief minister paid his last respects at Chikkamma’s house in Devegowdanahundi in the taluk on Saturday.

Chikkamma was undergoing treatment at BGS Apollo Hospital in the city. Siddaramaiah said his elder sister was married to Sannegowda of Devegowdanahundi. “I had visited Chikkamma at the hospital during Dasara. She was staying with us until her children grew up,” Siddaramaiah recalled.
