Christ golden jubilee on July 14

Bengaluru, (DHNS): Christ (Deemed to be University) will celebrate its golden jubilee on July 14.

The celebrations will be inaugurated by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi. Scion of Mysuru’s erstwhile royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and his wife Trishika Kumari (an alumna of Christ college) will grace the event. “There will also be anniversary celebrations on July 21, where our former heads of departments (HoDs), professors and thousands of Christ College alumni will participate. The celebration, with several planned programmes, will go on for a year,” Fr Abraham, Pro ViceChancellor,Christ, told DH.

AICTE Chairman Dr Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani and Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister
Krishna Byre Gowda will be the guests of honour on July 21.
