Bengaluru, DHNS: State Congress chief and Home Minister G Parameshwara said on Saturday that tears welled in his eyes when he saw the results of the Assembly elections to 5 states on Thursday.
“It is time for all to join hands to strengthen the Congress party,” he said, while participating in a programme at the KPCC office. The event was held to mark the death anniversary of late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. Parameshwara said elections to the state Assembly is 2 years away.
“It is time to set aside our differences and work for the party. We should retain power,” he added.
