Don’t give in to political interference, HDK tells top police officers

Bengaluru, (DHNS): Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday asked police officials to act honestly and not give in to any political interference while discharging their duties. Kumaraswamy, who held a review meeting with senior police officers at the Vidhana Soudha on law and order situation in the state, is said to have assured them that there wouldn’t be any interference in the department’s functioning on his part. According to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office, Kumaraswamy directed the officers to ensure not to tolerate any illegal activities in the state, especially in Bengaluru city.
