Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with fervour across Karnataka

Bengaluru, (DHNS): Muslims across the state celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with religious fervour and solemnity on Saturday which marked the end of the holy month of Ramzan, during which the faithfuls observe fasting from dawn to dusk.

Clad in festive finery white kurta-pyjama and white skull cap, Muslims offered mass prayers at Eidgah Maidans and the masjids across the state.

In Hubballi, thousands of Muslims took part in special prayers as part of Eid-ul-Fitr at Eidgah Maidan. After the special namaz, they greeted each other with traditional hugs.

In Chikkamagaluru, MLC Bhojegowda and SP Annamalai visited Eidgah Maidan and extended Eid greetings to the Muslim brethren.
