Father Muller Convention Centre opened

Mangaluru (The Hindu): The 1,750 seating capacity Muller auditorium and two other halls of the new Father Muller Convention Centre were inaugurated on Sunday.

Said to be the biggest and most unique project of the Mangalore Diocese, the new centre comprises of the auditorium, Muller Dine and Muller Mini Hall.

Covering a space of 38,750 sq ft, the auditorium has green room, washroom and other amenities. It has state-of-art synchronised illumination and sound systems. The mini hall, on a 5,600 sq ft area can accommodate 500 people. The dine, on a 25,700 sq ft area, is linked to the auditorium and the mini hall. The centre also boasts a good landscape, high capacity lifts, smoke detectors and emergency exits. It has a parking facility for 700 cars. The entry and exit is from Bhagwan Mahaveer Junction.

Inaugurating the centre, Bernard Moras, Archbishop of Bengaluru, said it was the biggest in Mangaluru. He commended the efforts of Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Mangaluru Bishop, and Patrick Rodrigues, director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions.
