Kalburgi, (DHNS): The people of Gujarat are fed up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decisions, said Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday Kharge said that there were many business people in Gujarat who had supported Modi because he is from there. But now they are fed up of some of the decisions the PM has taken. "There is a Congress wave in Gujarat and Modi's influence in the state has lessened," he said, expressing confidence that Congress is bound to come to power in Gujarat.

Kharge said that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is working day and night for poll campaigns and party workers are creating awareness among people about Modi's wrong decisions. "We are committed to teach BJP a tough lesson," he added.

"Modi has decided to run the country as a dictator. But he has faced opposition to this within his own party," Kharge said.

Ambedkar drafted Constitution alone
Reacting to the BJP's statement that B R Ambedkar was not the only person who drafted the Constitution, Kharge said that Ambedkar was in fact the only one to do it.

"Initially eight members were appointed to the committee that was given the task of drafting the Constitution. But all except Ambedkar quit the committee. Ambedkar drafted the Constitution alone," Kharge added.
