Bengaluru, (DHNS): JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Sunday accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of misusing tax-payers' money for organising his state-wide tour scheduled to commence from December 13.

"There is no doubt about it. He is touring the state for the election purpose, but his tour is funded by the government," he told reporters on seeking to know whether the Siddaramaiah is misusing the tax-payers' money.

Kumaraswamy was speaking to reporters after holding a meeting with the JD(S) workers at the party office. He held a meeting with the party leaders who are aspiring to contest the next Assembly election from Rajarajeshwarinagar, Govindrajnagar, Chickpet, Basavanagudi and Mahadevapura constituencies in Bengaluru.

Asked whether the party will give the ticket to contest the polls to his brother H D Revanna's son Prajwal Revanna, he said Prajwal is also one of the aspirants. The party leaders will take an appropriate decision in this regard, he added.

He aid the JD(S) is open for having a pre-poll alliance with small parties that have concerns for the state. The JD(S) leader, however, ruled out any tie-up with the Congress and the BJP.
