Chitradurga, DHNS: Social Welfare Minister H?Anjaneya has said that he had spoken anything that would hurt veteran Congress leader Janardhan Poojary.
Speaking to reporters at Harhikote near here on Monday, Anjaneya said his statement had been misinterpreted. “I?had said that Poojary is one of the leaders who led the Congress. He fought for the poor, but had to taste defeat thrice. His defeat was the defeat of the poor. Such leaders should win the elections and enter Parliament again. I?didn’t mean to hurt him,” Anjaneya clarified.
On the appointment of a dalit chief minister for Karnataka, the minister said that the issue itself was not relevant since it is not an election time.
