Bengaluru, (DHNS): The JD(S) will support the Bharat Bandh called by the Congress party over the rising fuel prices and decreasing value of the Indian rupee on September 10.

“The JD(S) will support the bandh,” JD(S) state president H Vishwanathtold reporters.

"Our party workers will stage protests at all district headquarters on Monday," he said.

Vishwanath came down heavily upon Union Ministers Ananth Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, Anant Kumar Hegde and MPs Nalin Kumar Kateel and Shobha Karandlaje.

"They had staged a protest against the UPA government when fuel and LPG gas prices had shot up. Where are they now?" he questioned.

"Where is B S Yeddyurappa, the State BJP president who is known for leading protests often? Is he hiding in Vaishampayana Lake? (a lake where Duryodhana, an importance character from Mahabharata epic, hid himself to overcome grief)" Vishwanath questioned.
