Khushboo calls on CM, condoles son's death

Bengaluru, DHNS: Actor-politician Khushboo on Thursday met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and offered condolences on the death of his son, Rakesh.

She told reporters after meeting the chief minister that she came from Chennai to offer her condolences as she could not make it to Rakesh’s funeral in Mysuru on August 1. She said she was pained by the untimely death of Rakesh and tried to console the chief minister. Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimmappa and BJP leader Sriramulu also met Siddaramaiah and offered their condolences.

Siddaramaiah will participate in the fifth day rituals of his Rakesh in Mysuru on Friday and later return to Bengaluru on the same day.

The fifth day ritual, among others, involves offering ghee and milk to the departed soul, sources in the CM’s Secretariat said.
