Mangaluru students shine in JEE (Main)

Mangaluru (The Hindu): In all, 429 students of Alva’s Pre-University College, Moodbidri, have qualified to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), a release said.

The JEE (Advanced) is meant for qualifying to get admission to Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs). They have passed the JEE (Main) required for seeking admission to National Institutes of Technologies (NITs). According to a release from the Centre for Advanced Learning, Mangaluru, its 38 students have qualified to appear for the JEE (Advanced) examination. In all, eight students from the centre have scored marks of 200 and above and a total of 22 students have scored more than 140 marks.

A release from Boscos Tutorials, Mangaluru, said that 28 of its students have qualified for the JEE (Advanced).
