Manipal (The Hindu): Manipal University and Belanje Sanjeeva Hegde Trust celebrated the 75th birthday of Pro-Chancellor H.S. Ballal here on Saturday.
Ramdas M. Pai, Chancellor of Manipal University, Vasanthi Pai, Chairperson of University Hostel Management Committee, Ranjan Pai, Managing Director and CEO of Manipal Education and Medical Group and senior officials of the Manipal Group, vice-chancellors of Manipal Universities and other universities of Mangalore and a host of officials were present on the occasion. Pramod Madhwaraj, Minister of State for Fisheries, R. Vishal, Deputy Commissioner, K. Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, were present.
