Miscreants assault Urwa ASI Aithappa at Ladyhill

Mangaluru: Miscreants assaulted a police sub-inspector of Urwa at Ladyhill Circle on April 5. The injured has been identified as Aithappa ASI from Urva police station.

On April 5, at around 3:40 am, while ASI Aithappa was on duty at the Ladyhill circle some miscreants assaulted him. Aithappa has been injured in the head and admitted to a private hospital in the city. Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar, DCP Law and Order Shantharaju, DCP Crime and Traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil and other police officers reached the spot. They also visited the hospital.

ACP Uday Nayak is investigating the case.
