Muslim Youth Conference held in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Mohammad Riyaz Calicut, All India President of DYFI inaugurated Muslim Youth Conference organised by the DYFI at the Shanti Nilaya at Balmatta. Speaking on the occasion, he said, "It is regretting to note that the youth  of the minority community were getting attracted towards communal organisations in a bid to fight the communalism patronised by RSS. Youth have to realise that this is not the answer."


He also called upon the Muslim youth to join their hands in the fight against neo-liberalisation. If Muslim youth continue to get attracted towards fundamentalist groups, in the process they will only be helping the RSS agenda of communalism. Like all religions Islam to advocates tolerance and brotherhood, he said adding activities promoting communalism were against the tenets of Islam.

Senior journalist Ramzan Darga, AIIEA National President Amanulla Khan, Akshara Santha Harekala Hajabba, DYFI State President Muneer Katipalla, DYFI State Secretary Rajashekhar Murthi, District President Imtiyaz BK and others were present.
