Bangalore, 24 July 2017: The massive job fair conducted by N A Haris Foundation in partnership with Aahana Systems and Solutions Pvt Ltd has come to successful end by providing xxxx job opportunities to participants. The fair was organized at the Mudtank BBMP Grounds at Richmond Town in Bangalore. The event was inaugurated by Shantinagar MLA, N A Haris and his father, renowned social worker and entrepreneur N A Mohammed in the presence of local leaders and other dignitaries

Speaking on the occasion, MLA of Shantinagar, N A Haris said “This is a one of the many initiatives that is very close to all of us at the N A Haris foundation. Today our youth are faced with a situation where they are struggling to find jobs and support their families. Our honorable Prime Minister had promised job creation as a prominent point in his election manifesto. There is no doubt that he has failed miserably in fulfilling this promise, just like he has failed to fulfill any other promise he had made. On the other hand we at the N A Haris foundation are trying our level best to get this opportunity and create a platform for the youth”

Adding He said “ In the coming days we are planning to organize a much larger event where people from across the state can come and find jobs. We are in talks with the state government and other potential partners to make a collaborative effort to organize this event. We will have both national and international companies participate in this. The target of the next fair is to create 25,000 jobs for people from across all walks of life. We think it is key that this connect between employers and potential employees are made. We have had a lot of queries from retired defense officials to arrange for some suitable opportunities for them too. We are looking to take this initiative up in our next project and provide them a platform to find suitable jobs incase they are interested”

The job fair that just concluded saw participation of more than 5000 people who are from various educational backgrounds. The majority of participants were from 10th std, ITI, Diploma and JOC trained, a few of them were also from engineering, banking and finance backgrounds. Big Bazaar, Reliance Digitals and Hinduja Global Solutions were the biggest hires at the event and collectively hired 950 participants. Salaries for these participants varied from 1.50 Lakhs Per annum to 4.20 Lakhs Per annum.
