Bengaluru, DHNS: BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday?said new revelations from Congress MLC K Govindaraj’s diary will be more embarrassing for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

“The contents that have been revealed from the diary are just the tip of the iceberg. More details will tumble out soon,” Yeddyurappa told reporters in Bengaluru.

The contents of the diary purportedly provide details of payoffs by state Congress members to their national leaders.

“Soon after a national TV channel revealed the contents, (Chief Minister) Siddaramaiah remained confined to his house for three days. More is yet to come.....after which Siddaramaiah will not be able walk with his head up because of shame,” Yeddyurappa added.

Yeddyurappa reiterated his charge that Siddaramaiah and his family received Rs 65-crore kickbacks for sanctioning the controversial steel flyover in Bengaluru. “An enquiry will confirm that I am speaking the truth,” he said.

Later in the day, Siddaramaiah lashed out at the media for asking a question on Yeddyurappa. “Do you have nothing worthwhile to do? Why do you chant Yeddyurappa’s name all the time?” he asked, before moving on.
