Mandaya: Housing Minister M?H?Ambareesh expressed disappointment on Saturday that he was not being consulted in the process of appointments to boards and corporations.

He was speaking to reporters here after his supporters met him to complain to him that none of them was likely to be accommodated in the list of appointments.

Ambareesh said he was a senior leader in the party - having served as a Union minister and MP for three terms. That being the case, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and State
Congress president Parameshwara should have consulted him, he said.

He said he was asked to recommend a list of probable nominees, which he had done. He said media reports suggested that the process of appointments was on and that he should be consulted before finalising the names.
