President to visit temples in Udupi and Kollur

Udupi (The Hindu): There will be restrictions on darshan at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple here and at the Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur on June 18 as President Pranab Mukherjee will be visiting the two temples in Udupi district.

Devotees will not be allowed into the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple here from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meals for devotees will be served after 2 p.m., said Dewan of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt Raghuram Acharya. So too in Kollur, there would be no darshan for the devotees at the Sri Mookambika Temple from 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Devotees will have to finish their darshan before 10.30 a.m. or have it after 6 p.m., said an officer from the Kundapur Sub Division.

Mr. Mukherjee will be visiting the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple around noon on Sunday, while he will be visiting the Mookambika Temple in Kollur later.
