RGUHS plans to declare MBBS results in a day

Bengaluru, (DHNS): The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), which declared results within 15 minutes after the completion of the last exam, is now aiming to give out the result of 1st year MBBS in one day. Nearly 20,000 1st year MBBS students have attended the theory exam across the state, which was conducted from July 3 to July 11.

The practical exam is scheduled from July 25 to August 2. The varsity plans to declare the results on August 3, a day after the students finish their last exam. Ramesh M K, Registrar (Evaluation), Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, told DH: “We are intending to fast-track the evaluation process. We will be relieved and so are the students if the results are declared early. The evaluation of theory papers has already commenced.”

The results for the Master of Dental Surgery and Diploma in Dentistry examination was declared 15 minutes after the students finished the practical exams.

The examination was conducted between 9 am to 5 pm and the results of 883 students were ready by 5.15 pm. They were updated on the university’s website by 5.30 pm.
