Bengaluru, (DHNS): Thousands of fans gathered at Kanteerava Studios premises to pay tributes to thespian Dr Rajkumar on his 12th death anniversary on Thursday.
The Kanteerava Studios officials kept the programme low key as the model code of conduct for the Legislative Assembly election is in force.
The programme was simple with just flower decoration to the memorial and there were no special arrangement of lunch for fans. The fans had started to come from 9 am.
On the occasion, Rajkumar's actor-son Shivarajkumar told reporters that he would not campaign in the election as he is busy in film shooting.
Shivarajkumar, however, said that his wife Geetha would be campaigning. The actor extended financial assistance to a man who had come from Hosadurga (Chitradurga district) seeking help for treating his ailing son.
