Bengaluru, DHNS: After a month of dry spell, Bengaluru received sudden showers on Thursday, bringing down the soaring mercury.
The city had recorded a temperature of 33 degrees Celsius on last Sunday and Monday.
According to S?M?Methri, director-in-charge of India Meteorology Department (IMD), the recorded around 4 mm rainfall by 8.30pm. The IMD has forecast rain and cloudy sky in the city for the next two days.
The sudden evening showers took many commuters by surprise. People were seen running for shelter. The maximum and minimum in the city was 26.9 and 17.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
