Bengaluru: SpiceJet is offering promotional fares starting at Rs 1,999 for one-way all-inclusive for flights in and out of Hubballi. These fares will be applicable from March 1 to 30. Bookings are open now, a communiqué from the airline stated.

SpiceJet has resumed flights to Hubballi. The airline now offers daily direct flights to the city twice from Bengaluru and once from Mumbai.

The flight service to Hubballi resumed on Sunday with the departure of a flight from Bengaluru at 8.50 a.m., which was flagged off by Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers H.N. Ananth Kumar. The daily service from Mumbai also resumed on Sunday, a press release stated.

The release added that the service to Hubballi had been temporarily suspended since August 2014. This was because the Hubballi’s runway was being repaired and strengthened. With the resumption of service, Hubbali will not just be directly connected to Bengaluru and Mumbai, but also further connections to Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Jabalpur on SpiceJet’s domestic network, and to Dubai via Mumbai in its international network.

Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Operating Officer, SpiceJet Ltd., said, “With re-induction of Hubballi in its network, SpiceJet has re-connected an important business centre of Karnataka by air with rest of the country.”
