Tulu movie ‘Bale Pudar Deek Ee Preetg’ to hit screens in September

Mangaluru (The Hindu): It stars Karthik Shetty andcity-based Anvita Sagar in the lead roles. A new Tulu movie Bale Pudar Deek Ee Preetg is likely to hit the screens in Mangaluru, Udupi and other neighbouring districts in September.

This movie by J.V. Seven Productions has Mumbai-based Karthik Shetty and Mangaluru-based Anvita Sagar in the lead roles. It also features popular comic artistes Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar and Dinesh Attavar.

The director J.V. Manoranjan told presspersons on Saturday that the movie was based on a romantic story that focuses on the need for parents to understand their children. In a busy city lifestyle, parents tend to ignore feelings of grown up children that leads them to search of persons and methods they find solace, he said.

Mr. Manoranjan said that they completed shooting of film in Mangaluru and other parts of the district. They will shortly release the movie trailer and the audio. Mr. Shetty, a native of Karkala, said that he did get offers for Tulu movies in the past but rejected them as he did not like the scripts.

“This film provides me a perfect launch in the Tulu film industry,” said Mr. Shetty, who has acted in two Marathi and two Kannada films. Mr. Shetty said that he was working with Atul Kulkarni in a new Marathi film.
